About Us: Organized in Waco in 1954, The Arc of
McLennan County is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) membership association affiliated
with The Arc of the United States and The Arc of Texas. Governed by a local
board of directors, The Arc has programs for both children and adults with
disabilities and provides support to parents and families as well.
Our Funding: The Arc is fortunate to be an agency
funded by the United Way of Waco-McLennan County. Approximately one third of
our funding comes from the local United Way campaign, and the remaining two
thirds derives from membership dues, program revenue, special events, and the
generosity of our community.
