Each week, the participants of The Opportunity Center at The Arc of McLennan County deliver meals to homebound adults with disabilities in Waco, TX alongside Friends For Life.

Kiwanis Club of Waco supports The Opportunity Center and co-sponsors Waco's local Aktion Club chapter, where adults with disabilities volunteer and serve alongside their neighbors.

The participants of The Opportunity Center have partnered with Packs of Hope to pack care packages to fight child hunger in Waco, TX.

The Arc of McLennan County, Kiwanis of Waco, and Aktion Club of Waco have partnered together to adopt Viking Hills Park in Waco, TX through Keep Waco Beautiful to take on the responsibility of maintaining the park.

Through our Polyglass partnership, participants of The Opportunity Center at the Arc of McLennan County fulfill real production orders at our facility, building manufacturing skills.

Doreen Ravenscroft founded Yellow Cottage Kitchen and teaches participants of The Opportunity Center with hands-on cooking skills, building the independence and vocational confidence that carry into everyday life.

Jillian Ohriner founded We Grow the Co to empower local business owners to take control of their online presence and has partnered with the participants of The Opportunity Center to learn high value, in-demand digital marketing skills.

Bitty & Beau's is a coffee shop that was founded to give employment opportunities to adults with disabilities and we are proud to say that five of The Opportunity Center participants are employed at the Downtown Waco, TX location. 

The Arc of McLennan County is proud to sponsor a Challenger League team to ensure every child in Waco, TX with a disability has an opportunity to play baseball.

Richfield Christian Church hosts our workshops, trainings, and walking trail activities — and we return the favor by helping plan and coordinate their community events, including their annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The Lee Lockwood Library is hosting our largest fundraiser of the year, Boos on the Brazos.
