What is Bitty&Beau's?

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual & developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace. It’s a place where diversity isn’t just appreciated, it’s celebrated. Bitty & Beau’s Coffee proudly employs 450+ individuals with disabilities nationwide.The original shop opened January 2016 in Wilmington, NC. It employed 19 individuals with disabilities. The downtown Waco shop opened in 2021 and employs 25-30 people.

with Bitty & Beau's?

The Opportunity Center prepares adults with IDD for real careers through hands-on vocational training and life skills support. For many participants, that path leads straight to Bitty & Beau's doors. That pipeline shows up in people like Tyson, an Opportunity Center participant and Bitty & Beau's Employee of the Month in March 2026 who's been part of the Waco shop since day one. His story isn't the exception. It's the point.
